Sounds like someone went to Daiso in San Francisco and assumed that it’s the same as Daiso in Tokyo
I went to Daiso at Westfield Marion and it was 100x better than ‘The Reject Shop’.
But they’re both gone now.

Okay but I got onigari molds, bento boxes that nest for storage, as well as beautiful envelopes I use to give tips (like to the esthetician) at Daiso in Vancouver, all things I can’t find locally, even in the nearest city. Not just at discount shops, I mean in general.

The Daisos near me have increased their minimum prices to $2.50. At that point, it’s not really worth the impulse purchase. Still has cute fun items though
