Well the last time it had a chance of major reform the message was defund the police and it blew up in our face.

Communism isn’t socialism

Reform the police could accomplish the same goal, but is a more paletable message for the who barely care or don’t care.

You don’t actually want anything to change, you just want to be angry.

People like you are all the right has to point to to sway moderate people who would otherwise be open to solving the problem to continue to ignore it. Messaging matters.

I mean the best countries are democratic socialists countries operating under regulated capitalism.

Properly regulated capitalism is a solid economic system.

A Government should provide:

1. Food, health and housing security.
2. Regulation of private industries to prevent abuse of people, finance, ecosystems.
3. A reasonable amount of military strength that is adequate to protect the nation.
4. Taxation that allows for points 1,2, and 3 and prevents insane wealth accumulation at the top.
