      It isn’t “both sides,” social democracy in the imperial core depends on imperialist, neocolonial extraction to fund their social safety nets. This is the price of class collaboration, the creation of what Engels called the “bourgeois proletariat.” This is also what social democrats share in common with fascists, a protection of capitalism and imperialism.

          I have no idea what you’re talking about, the point of link aggregate sites like Lemmy and Reddit is discussion. Further, I’m happily married, and calling a partner a “mate” is gross.

    National socialism has nothing to do with socialism and less with democracy. It’s not a social support of everybody, but of those rich collectives which support the ideology (and race) of the Führer. “For sure you’ll like our lider, it’s better for your health and the one of your family”

      It’s not saying that fascists do social programs. It’s saying, that imperial super profits are not enough anymore, so the mask comes off. Fascism arises, when the profit rate is so low, that domestic exploitation has to be ramped up above what’s possible within liberal democracy.
